The text and the presentations have been updated to remain current with regard to financial agencies content and review standards. Such issues have become an area of particular focus by the federal financial institution regulators (such as the FDIC) subsequent to the enactment of Dodd-Franks legislation. Updated specifics and critical information are covered again within the sections on written narrative appraisal reporting, particularly in reference to communicating to the enabling needs of a user that is a regulated financial institution.
